All LSC Recreational Programs are designed around appropriate small sided game formats and we use the 'New Ball Method' with our younger age groups to maximize time on the field with the ball in play!

We provide our recreational families:

  • Fields (Our practice facilities include city parks, county parks, private facilities, school facilities & community parks)
  • Uniforms
  • Referees (in age appropriate groups)
  • Volunteer Coaches
  • Program Administration including league player and team registration
  • Player's Supplemental Insurance
  • Participation Trophies/Medals (varies by season)
  • Player Evaluation Opportunities (U5-U10) with our Recreational Site Directors
  • Professional Director of Coaching Support
  • Development Training Programs for U5-U10 players, designed and overseen by the Recreational Site Director, and coached by professional staff.
  • Online curriculums and session plans
  • LSC facilitated Youth Module for volunteers
  • Between 7-9 games depending upon weather and number of registrations
  • A day for families to bring their own cameras to take photos in designated areas

The development focus of LSC Recreational Programs is simple:

  • Fun
  • Exercise
  • Social interaction
  • Motor skill development
  • No documentation of reported scores for league standings for U4-U12 age groups
  • Technical develpment through playing games and exercises

LSC Recreational Programs, and our partner Recreational Programs, have a great history of success developing players. Many of todays 1,000 Jr Academy Players and 2,000 Select Players at Lonestar SC came through these Recreational Programs. Additionally, there are many players playing collegiate soccer or who have graduated from collegiate rosters with decorated playing careers who began back in these local recreational programs!

We also partner with two recreational programs in the Austin Area who have very similar philosophies in providing opportunities at the grassroots levels for kids to play soccer:
