Lonestar SC Development Academy

The United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) is the highest level of youth soccer in the United States for male and female soccer players. The Development Academy provides a clear pathway for Lonestar SC players: US Youth National Teams (USYNT), Professional Soccer (MLS, USL, NWSL, NASL, Europe), NCAA, as well as the Men's National Team (USMNT) and Women's National Team (USWNT).

The Development Academy (DA) is part of U.S. Soccer's global leadership position in men and women's soccer and connects with its long-term plan to improve player and coach development. The mission of the program is to provide education, resources and support to directly impact the everyday environment for clubs to develop world-class male and female players. Creating the Boys/Girls Development Academy provides our players with an improved development model in which players can focus solely on training with the appropriate number and level of games. This model focuses on developing the individual player within the club environment, which allows for additional training sessions per season to enhance player development.
