A short note from Nico’s Dad, Mike:

With some help of my friends, we are at the early stages of setting up a Memorial Fund in Nico's name to help benefit youth soccer as soccer was one of Nico's passions in life.

My youngest son Alex may have captured it best with the following post on his and his brother's Facebook page ...

“To my brother, Nico... who after going so far and outshining most of us, finally burned out just as the star he was 'meant to be' Love you bro - always.”

We really want all of our players to understand this message: There is always hope; we will always be here for you at LSC, no matter how bad things seem to be, if you don't know where to turn then you can turn to us and we will do whatever we can to help you.
