Lonestars 94B USSFDA Advance to 2012 Play-Offs

The Lonestar 94B USSFDA swept the Houston Dynamo 4-0 this past weekend securing a spot in this weekend’s 2012 USSFDA Playoffs! It was announced earlier today that the Lonestar’s 94B USSFDA team will participate in Group 8 (U-17/18) along with Baltimore Bays, PDA, and Crew Soccer Academy #AcademyPlayoffs

The Lonestar SC Development Academy teams have received significant praise this year, from a number of sources including the USSF regional technical staff and many college coaches, on their style of play. The U18 boys advancing to the play-offs is the icing on the cake for a group of players that have played at Lonestar SC for many years and for the coaching staff of Bruce Talbot, Bobby Murphy and Alex Parra, and indeed for the many LSC coaches that have worked with the players over the last 8+ years.

Eight teams will advance from the play-offs to the 2012 Development Academy Finals Week, held from July 16-23 in Houston, into two groups of four and will play a round-robin format during the first six days. In accordance with the Development Academy Best Practices, teams will alternate game days with a day of recovery. The tournament concludes with placement matches, culminating with the U-17/18 championship game on July 22 and the U-15/16 championship match on July 23.

Recreational Progams

We are excited to be able to offer multiple recreational programs for ages U4-U18! The programs are LSC-CCU serving Cedar Park and North Austin, LSC-AUC serving South Austin and surround areas, and LSC-CBA now serving Central Austin, such as the Brentwood and Crestview areas.
