Lonestar Elections Final
 May 19 2006 - Staff

 Our first elections to the Board of Directors of the Lonestar Soccer Club are complete.

As previously described, two at-large positions were voted upon. I am very pleased to congratulate Steve Allen and Linda Potter on their selection. Please join me in welcoming them to the Board of Directors.

Your Board of Directors for the 2006/2007 Seasons is as follows:

Vice President John Buckler
Secretary Sheila Ross
Treasurer Rod Favaron
At-large Steve Allen
At-large Pat Hickman
At-large Linda Potter
At-large Tod Spears
At-large Keith Zoellner

In the next sixty days, we will be filling a number of committee positions. There’s a lot of work to be done over the next year. Our goal is to spread the workload and involve a larger number of parents in the operation of our Club.

A couple of people mentioned an interest in serving on the Board of Directors. Getting involved now is the best way to show an interest in serving our Club. Next year, we will elect seven of the nine members. We’re a big Club with a lot of room for growth and improvement. Please join us in our efforts to make Lonestar the most dynamic soccer environment in the entire US.

Recreational Progams

We are excited to be able to offer multiple recreational programs for ages U4-U18! The programs are LSC-CCU serving Cedar Park and North Austin, LSC-AUC serving South Austin and surround areas, and LSC-CBA now serving Central Austin, such as the Brentwood and Crestview areas.
