Lonestar Soccer Camps are designed around developing a player's individual technique and love for the game. Each day players will thoroughly cover a new technical skill. The ultimate goal of each topic is to introduce, develop and master the various technical aspects of the game in a fun and challenging environment where the players experience success.

 

Technical topics covered are:

 

  • Dribbling
  • Passing & Receiving
  • Receiving air balls & turns
  • Striking & Finishing
  • Using Skills in games

 

U.S. Soccer player safety campaign will be adhered to based off of age requirements:

 

  • No players 12 and under are to be trained in heading the ball nor will they be allowed to head the ball.
  • 13/14 year old players will have limited heading, no more than a total of 30 minutes per week.
  • Head injuries are to follow the concussion protocol here
