Thank you and congratulations for volunteering to be the Team Manager of your child’s select soccer team. The job of being Team Manager requires organization, communication, and dealing with paperwork in a timely fashion. While the coach plays a major role in most decisions related to team activities and events, his/her ultimate responsibility is to provide direction of on-field activities related to player development and game strategies. The Team Manager is responsible for removing as many “off-field” administrative duties from the coach as possible. Lonestar believes that the role of the Team Manager is critical to the overall goal of providing a positive experience for parents, coaches, and above all the players on your team. At times this job and its duties can seem overwhelming, especially if this is your first experience as Team Manager. Remember, the Lonestar staff is here to assist you in every way possible!
