Lorne is originally from Scotland, but came across to the United States in 2005. He has played/lived in three continents, Africa, Europe, and America. After arriving in the US, Lorne attended Houston Baptist University (HBU). While at HBU, he earned a BA degree in Kinesiology - Wellness Management and Sociology. Lorne also represented the University playing soccer, and as the team captain he went on to win 2010 ASC Player of the Year (NCAA Division I).
