As another exhilarating season draws to a close, Lonestar Soccer Club reflects on a year filled with remarkable achievements, stellar performances, and unforgettable moments on the pitch. From the youngest grassroots teams to the elite squads competing at the highest levels, every player has contributed to the club’s success. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of the Lonestar Soccer Club teams as they conclude yet another remarkable season:
• 14G Elite Gray, coached by Hannah Higgins, got first place in their WDDOA Alpha League table and became finalists in the President’s Cup.
• 13G LL Leadership Taylor, coached by Gonzalo Salgado and Jason Kincheloe, won the Superleague Grand Championship tournament and became finalists in the Austin Labor Day Cup.
• 13B Elite Black A, coached by Hugo Jimenez, won the State Cup and were WDDOA Prime Champions.
• 12G LL Leadership Taylor, coached by Gonzalo Salgado, won the ’24 Aggieland Classic and Houston Memorial Cup tournaments and became finalists in the Superleague Grand Championship.
• 12G Elite Gray, coached by Hannah Higgings, won the State Cup and were WDDOA Prime Champions.
• 12G Red, coached by Brian Monaghan, won the U13 FDL League, the State Cup, Dallas International Girls Cup and are advancing to the USYS Regionals.
• 11B Elite North, coached by Sergio Escribano, won the Bat City and AHFC Tournaments.
• 11B ECRL, coached by Ross McGibney, were second place in the ECRL Texas Conference. They advanced to ECRL Regional Playoffs where they were finalists.
• 10G FDL White, coached by Dewi Hardman, are advancing to the USYS Regionals.
• 09G FDL White, coached by Dewi Hardman, were State Cup finalists.
• 09B ECRL, coached by Ross McGibney, won the ECRL Texas Conference advancing to ECRL Playoffs in which they became champions as well. They are now advancing to ECRL Nationals.
• 09 ECNL Red, coached by Sergio Torres, advanced to the ECNL Playoffs for the third time in a row.
• 08G FDL White, coached by Jose Reyes, were State Cup finalists and are advancing to USYS Regionals.
• 08B ECNL Red, coached by Ron Dennie, are advancing to the ECNL Playoffs.
• 07G FDL White, coached by Ciaran Maguire, won the State cup and are advancing to USYS Regionals.
• 05/06B ECNL Red, coached by Ron Dennie, were second place in the ECNL Texas Conference and are advancing to the ECNL Playoffs.
• LSC UPSL, coached by Ron Dennie, were champions in the UPSL Texas Central Conference and will be advancing to playoffs.
As we bid farewell to another successful season, Lonestar Soccer Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to all players, coaches, families, and supporters who contributed to the club’s achievements. In addition, we would like to wish good luck to all of our teams that will be competing in their Regional and/or National competitions. Together, we look forward to building upon this success and writing the next chapter in the storied history of Lonestar Soccer.
