At Lonestar Soccer Club, our mission is to be the best youth soccer club in the nation while developing good people. We believe soccer builds champions on and off the field, and every child—regardless of their background or financial situation—deserves the opportunity to be part of a team where they can grow, belong, and develop ambitious beliefs about their future.
What is LSC’s P.L.A.Y. Initiative?
Lonestar’s P.L.A.Y. (Protecting the Lives of All Youth) Initiative is our commitment to provide financial assistance to families by covering player registration fees through our financial assistance program. The initiative is designed to remove financial barriers that prevent children from playing youth soccer and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all kids, regardless of background. Every player at Lonestar proudly wears the P.L.A.Y. logo on their uniforms, symbolizing our club’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring no child is turned away due to financial constraints.
Our Track Record
- $4.85 million awarded to over 7,750 players across Austin and Central Texas since 2006
- $625,000 to 750+ players in need of financial assistance in 2024
What is our P.L.A.Y. Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign?
To sustain and grow our impact, our Lonestar community– players, teams, families, staff, and supporters — comes together each year to raise funds during our peer-to-peer campaign. The campaign is crucial to ensuring we can keep our promise of providing financial aid to our players. It is also an opportunity for our players to instill philanthropic values that will shape them into compassionate leaders for life.
2025 Campaign Details
This year, we’re aiming to raise an ambitious $180,000 through our peer-to-peer campaign from October 20th – December 14th to support the increasing demand for financial assistance.

Looking Ahead
Our first-ever P.L.A.Y. Impact Report will be released in Spring 2026 to measure the impact of our Financial Aid Program and recognize our incredible supporters and sponsors.
