OVERVIEW

We are excited to announce the upcoming Lonestar Soccer Club College ID Clinic, a fantastic opportunity for aspiring male players looking to showcase their talents and potentially play at the collegiate level. Thanks to our amazing Lonestar staff and Jones Soccer, along with their invaluable network, we are able to bring elite college-level coaches to this event, providing players with an unparalleled opportunity to learn from and be seen by top-tier collegiate coaching talent.

With elite college coaches instructing and coaching participants, players will not only enhance their technical skills but also gain invaluable insights into the college recruitment process. Players will experience a variety of high-level college coaches. Each player will benefit from personalized attention, with a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1. We welcome all players, regardless of club affiliation, to join us for this exceptional opportunity.

UPCOMING ID CLINIC

DETAILS:

Goalkeepers will train in small groups before joining the games.
Per NCAA Rules, this clinic is open to any high school player, limited only by age, gender and number of participants.
Players are encouraged to email attending schools.
Each two and half-hour session features small group training with college coaches, followed by 8v8 games.
Players will be assigned to teams and given numbers for evaluation.
Coaches will receive rosters to track players.

Who can attend the College ID Clinic?

The clinic is open to high school boys (grades 9–12) regardless of club affiliation. Players will be grouped based on their grade level.

How do I register for the clinic and how much is it?

Be sure to select the appropriate session based on your grade level. The cost of each session is $160 (until 10/12), starting 10/13 the cost of each session is $185. Please note there is a 2.37% convenience fee for payments made using credit or debit cards.

What is included in the registration fee?

The fee includes:

Training by college coaches
Game play (8v8) coached by college coaches
Personalized evaluations from college coaches
Numbered vests for team identification
Q&A session about the college recruitment process

What are the session times and how early can I arrive?

Session 1 (Friday, Nov 28): 4:00 pm– 6:30 pm (Freshmen & Sophomores)

What if I am a goalkeeper?

Goalkeepers will receive specialized training in small groups before joining the games with the other players.

Who will be coaching the ID Clinic?

The clinic will feature elite college coaches from a variety of universities across NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and Jr. Colleges. These coaches will lead training sessions and evaluate players during the games, providing valuable feedback from top-tier collegiate coaching staff.

Are there any rules about recruiting or contacting coaches?

Players are encouraged to email attending colleges prior to the clinic to introduce themselves. Per NCAA rules, the clinic is open to any high school player, with no restrictions other than age, gender, and participant limits.

Can I register on-site the day of the event?

No, on-site registration is not available. The ID Clinic is limited in size to ensure an appropriate player-to-coach ratio. Registration closes on Monday, November 24th, so we highly recommend registering online in advance to secure your spot.

Are there any refunds?

Please note that refunds will not be offered due to staffing, organizational, and logistical considerations.
