The Lonestar San Antonio Junior Academy is designed for players who excel at the recreational level, are seeking a more challenging and developmentally appropriate environment, or are looking to prepare for future levels of play within the Lonestar development pathway. Through a player-centered training model in a team setting, along with weekend league games, the Junior Academy builds technical skills, game understanding, confidence, creativity, and decision-making both on and off the ball.
As part of the collaboration with Classics Elite and San Antonio FC, the Lonestar San Antonio Junior Academy represents the first step for players entering the competitive development pathway in San Antonio. Any 6U–10U boy or girl (based on the age groups below) is eligible for the Lonestar San Antonio Junior Academy program. All players are expected to demonstrate focus, effort, and a willingness to learn and compete!
