With a focus on player development, college placement, and operational excellence, these experienced professionals bring a wealth of expertise to the club.
Zack Pope takes the helm as Head of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day management of the club with efficiency, precision, and institutional knowledge as he has been part of the LSC program since 2013. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Zack will play a pivotal role in streamlining operations and driving organizational success.

Danny Rivera is promoted to Assistant Head of Operations. With his keen eye for detail and a knack for streamlining processes, Danny is poised to make a substantial impact. Collaborating closely with Zack Pope, he aims to enhance operational efficiency across the board.

Jackie Pope joins the team in a new role in her Lonestar career now as the Head of Girls Advisory, bringing her expertise in player advocacy and mentorship to the forefront. Jackie’s dedication to empowering young women and providing them with the tools they need to thrive will be invaluable to the Lonestar community.

Mary Cardone joins as the Assistant Head of Girls Goalkeeper Development. As a four-time All-SCAC goalkeeper, she propelled the Southwestern Women’s soccer team to a SCAC Conference championship for the first time in the program’s history and will be using her experience to guide the new generation of goalkeepers.

Kennedy Jobe is promoted to the position of Head Administrator of Girls National Program, where she will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of the program. With her strong leadership skills and passion for advancing women’s soccer, Kennedy is well-equipped to lead the Girls National Program to new heights.

Charles Paulsen joins the Juniors Team as our new Side and Technical Coordinator. With an illustrious career spanning roles such as Executive Director at Silver State in Las Vegas, Technical Director at Downtown LVSC, and Director of Development at TCYSA in Washington, Charles brings vast experience to his new position.

Leading the charge for the Girls College Placement program is Misty Jones, who joins Lonestar as the Head of Girls College Placement. She comes with an extensive background in college recruitment and a passion for guiding young athletes toward academic and athletic success.

Tom Shortland assumes the role of Head of Girls Player Development, bringing his years of coaching experience and a proven track record of nurturing talent to the forefront. Tom’s dedication to holistic player development will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of elite athletes at Lonestar.

On the Boys College Placement side, Andy Thomson steps into the position of Head of Boys College Placement. Andy’s strategic approach and deep understanding of the collegiate soccer landscape will ensure that Lonestar players receive the guidance and support they need to excel both on and off the field.

In addition, Lonestar Soccer Club unveiled on June 13th an innovative partnership with DarkHorse, a cutting-edge technology company specializing in edit-free highlight reel creation using AI. This collaboration aims to redefine how soccer games are analyzed and how senior players are equipped with comprehensive video highlights for college recruitment purposes.
