Austin, TX – April 16, 2026 – Lonestar Soccer Club is proud to announce the coaching staff and player‑development structure for the 2026-27 National Program, marking a significant step forward as the club prepares for its return to the ECNL National League platform. The ECNL and ECNL RL programs feature a highly experienced coaching staff and a clearly defined pathway from U13 through U19, designed to prepare athletes for collegiate, professional, and national‑team environments.

Elite Coaching Staff with Youth, Collegiate, Professional, & National Experience

The 2026-27 National Program will be led by a staff whose backgrounds span NCAA Division I coaching, professional playing careers, national‑team development, and elite youth environments. This diverse expertise ensures that every athlete receives world‑class technical, tactical, and personal development support.

U13-U15: Individual Development in a Team Environment

This portion of the Lonestar development pathway focuses on building the individual player while forming competitive, cohesive teams. This structure ensures players build the technical foundation, decision‑making ability, and competitive habits required for elite soccer.

  • Each U13 – U15 team is assigned qualified, experienced coaches, providing:
    • Increased individual attention
    • Detailed technical and tactical instruction

    • A unified developmental model across all Lonestar age groups

U16-U19: High-Performance Training & College Preparation

As players progress into U16–U19, the program shifts toward high‑performance training and college‑recruitment preparation led by Coach Misty Jones, a former NCAA Division I coach with extensive experience guiding athletes into collegiate and professional environments. This pathway equips athletes to pursue opportunities across NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, junior college, and beyond.
