Fall and Spring seasons are 10 – 12 weeks long (with a rainout weekend available if needed).

Attendance Requirements
Attendance is optional but we encourage you to be present as much as possible. Please let your coach know if you are unable to attend a practice or game.

Player Behavior & Conduct
Players are expected to have fun and be respectful on and off the field.

Training / Game Schedule
Teams have 1 optional training and game a week during the season. Field space is provided for practices at the location players register for. Goals are provided for games.

Communication
Weekly communication is sent through club-approved channels by our Lonestar Recreational staff. Families are also provided access to PlayMetrics, a club-management system, that allows easy team communications.

Parent / Guardian Expectations
Parents are the role models for our players and are expected to display positive and respectful sideline behavior.

Uniforms
Full Adidas kit provided to each player in the fall and new players in the Spring. The kit includes 1 jersey, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks.

Coaching
Teams are led and coached by parent volunteers. Lonestar provides a coaches clinic at the start of each season and has online resources available for coaches throughout the season.

Equipment
Players will need an appropriate size ball (U4 – U7 Size 3, U8 – U12 Size 4, U13+ Size 5), shin guards, lots of water, and soccer-specific shoes (running/tennis shoes are okay).
