OVERVIEW

We are excited to announce the Lonestar Soccer Club Girls College ID Clinic, a premier event designed for female players eager to showcase their talents and pursue collegiate soccer opportunities. Thanks to our dedicated Lonestar staff and Jones Soccer, along with their extensive network, we’re bringing elite college-level coaches to this clinic. Players will have the chance to be coached by top-tier collegiate coaching talent, providing a unique opportunity to improve their skills and gain valuable exposure in the college recruitment process.

The clinic will feature high-level coaching, with a focus on developing technical abilities and offering insights into what college programs are looking for. With a player-to-coach ratio of 5:1, each participant will receive personalized attention from experienced coaches. Players will experience a variety of collegiate coaching styles, all aimed at helping them elevate their game and stand out in the recruiting process. We welcome players from all club affiliations to join us for this exceptional event, designed to offer growth, exposure, and a deeper understanding of the college recruitment process.

DETAILS

Goalkeepers will train in small groups before joining the games.
Per NCAA Rules, this clinic is open to any high school player, limited only by age, gender and number of participants.
Players are encouraged to email attending schools.
Each two and a half hour session features small group training with college coaches, followed by 8v8 games.
Players will be assigned to teams and given numbers for evaluation.
Coaches will receive rosters to track players.

Who can attend the College ID Clinic?

The clinic is open to 8th grade and high school girls (grades 8–12)* regardless of club affiliation. Players will be grouped based on their grade level.

*8th grade is only in Session 1 on Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm.

How do I register for the clinic and how much is it?

Be sure to select the appropriate session based on your grade level. The cost of each session is $160 (until 11/30), starting 12/1 the cost of each session is $185. Please note there is a 2.37% convenience fee for payments made using credit or debit cards.

Can I attend more than one session?

Yes! You can register for both sessions as you are eligible for based on your grade level. However, each session requires a separate registration.

What is included in the registration fee?

The fee includes:

Training by college coaches
Game play (8v8) coached by college coaches
Personalized evaluations from college coaches
Use of numbered vests for team identification
Q&A session about the college recruitment process

What are the session times and how early can I arrive?

What if I am a goalkeeper?

Goalkeepers will receive specialized training in small groups before joining the games with the other players.

Who will be coaching the ID Clinic?

The clinic will feature elite college coaches from a variety of universities across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as NAIA and JUCO. These coaches will lead training sessions and evaluate players during the games, providing valuable feedback from top-tier collegiate coaching staff.

Are there any rules about recruiting or contacting coaches?

Players are encouraged to email attending colleges prior to the clinic to introduce themselves. Per NCAA rules, the clinic is open to any high school player, with no restrictions other than age, gender, and participant limits.

Can I register on-site the day of the event?

No, on-site registration is not available. The ID Clinic is limited in size to ensure an appropriate player-to-coach ratio. Registration closes on Sunday, January 25th, so we highly recommend registering online in advance to secure your spot.

Are there any refunds?

Please note that refunds will not be offered due to staffing, organizational, and logistical considerations.
