Club Overview

Lonestar Soccer Club is committed to providing families a variety of programs, camps, and clinics to find the right fit for their family. We provide programing from U4 (ages 3-4) all the way up through 19+ with our USL 2 and USL W pre-professional teams.

You don’t need experience, gear knowledge, or soccer lingo. Start with our Find A Porgram Quiz, register for the program of your choice, lern how the club works, and enjoy playing. If your player ever wants more, we’ll help you explore it.

Tell us about your player in the Find A Program Quiz – age, experience, side of town, etc.
See our recommended options for your player, this may be for Recreational or one of our more competitive programs. Feel free to explore our Program Comparison to make sure it feels like the right fit for your player.
Register your player in PlayMetrics and know what’s next – schedule, uniforms, communication, and necessary details will all be through our club management platform.

What programs does Lonestar offer?

Lonestar provides a full development pathway for players ages 4–19, including Recreational, Junior Academy, Select, ECNL, and community outreach programs. Each program is designed to meet players where they are and support their growth at every stage.

Do players need experience to join Lonestar?

No. Lonestar welcomes beginners and experienced players alike. Every program is designed to be age‑appropriate, supportive, and development‑focused.

Who coaches Lonestar teams?

Recreational teams are led by volunteer coaches supported by Lonestar’s professional staff. Junior Academy, Select, and ECNL teams are coached by licensed, professional coaches who follow a club‑wide curriculum.

Where are practices and games held?

Lonestar operates across Austin, San Antonio, and Central Texas. Families are placed at the most convenient location based on program and availability.

What equipment does my player need?

Players need shin guards, soccer cleats, a ball, and the appropriate Lonestar uniform for their program. Coaches or team managers will provide details after registration.

Can my player move to a different program during the year?

Yes. If your player is ready for more challenge or needs a different environment, our staff will help you find the right next step.

How does Lonestar support player development?

We use age‑appropriate training methods, licensed coaches, a consistent curriculum, and a long‑term development philosophy that focuses on technical skill, decision‑making, teamwork, and character.

Is financial assistance available?

Yes. Lonestar offers financial aid for families who qualify. Details and application information are available through the club office.

How do I register?

Registration is available online for all programs. Rec registration is open seasonally, while Junior Academy and Select require evaluations or tryouts.
