Austin, TX – April 20, 2026 – Lonestar Soccer Club of Austin is proud to announce the Pre-ECNL program. Pre-ECNL is set up to introduce the players to a new level of training, games, coaching, environment, and experiences. This program and curriculum help to prepare players that may be on the path to the Lonestar Boys/Girls National Program, who play in the most competitive 11v11 league in the country: the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), which begins at U13. The lonestar Pre-ECNL experience focuses on the individual player through technical training, skill acquisition, small-sided games, and introducing important training and learning concepts within the training and game environments.
U9 to U12: Individual Development
Building confidence for the child, along with learning valuable life lessons through the game of soccer, is a big part of the development pathway for these younger players. The U9 to U12 Lonestar Pre-ECNL teams play in the 7v7 and 9v9 formats, while introducing the 11v11 format to the U12 players & teams that are closer to the Lonestar National Program.
Pre-ECNL Features:
- Age appropriate, qualified, and experienced coaches
