Gilbert Villareal

Biography

Born and raised in San Antonio, Gilbert graduated from MacArthur High School and Austin College in Sherman, TX. He played club soccer throughout his childhood, as well as in high school and college. With over twelve years of coaching club soccer under his belt, he has also been a high school mathematics teacher and boys soccer coach for over twenty years. Currently, he serves as the HEAD BOYS SOCCER COACH at Reagan High School in San Antonio. He has been a past president and board member of the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Organization (TASCO) for the past ten years. Gilbert has been happily married to Laura for 23 years and is blessed with two sons, Ethan (20) and Evan (15).

PLAYING EXPERIENCE
Gilbert played club soccer in San Antonio for 14 years and was a varsity soccer player at San Antonio MacArthur High School. He was a 4-Year Letterman at Austin College (DIII) and earned All-Star honors in the San Antonio Adult Coed League.
