Our Families Behind The Scenes
Lonestar Soccer Club was built by our Central Texas community – and we continue to grow because of you. For over 20+ years, we have been woven into the fabric of Central Texas, from Austin to San Antonio, because families like yours show up not just on the sidelines, but behind the scenes.
When our families give their time, they’re investing directly in the experience of every player on every team. It’s how we keep the sport accessible, our programs excellent, and our community close-knit.
However you choose to serve, know that your contribution matters deeply to this club and to the thousands of young players who call Lonestar home.
Ways You Can Volunteer
The following team roles fulfill your 10-hour volunteer requirement for all current parents.
- Keep your team organized, communicate updates, and serve as the primary point of contact between coaches and families.
- Manage team finances, track expenses, and help ensure your team’s budget runs smoothly throughout the season.
- Lead your team’s fundraising efforts for our P.L.A.Y. campaign that contributes to our Financial Aid Program, helping more families access to youth soccer
- Coordinate travel logistics for tournament trips, helping families plan and prepare for away competitions.
- Coach a recreational team and make a lasting impact on younger players in our community.
- Coordinate with your coach to get the club owned camera to the games.
- Coordinate with the coach to get the Hudl link for each game and upload it into Darkhorse by the designated time.
Prefer a Buyout?
We understand that schedules don’t always allow for volunteering. A one-time buyout of $125 covers your Select and National program volunteer requirement for the year. Simply select this option in your commitment paperwork — no further action needed!
